Business Developer that will play a key role in developing new prospects and accounts for our Janitorial Business in the Tri-County (Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade) territory area. If you have a keen eye for little details, you are self-directed, energetic, have exceptional planning skills and you are an excellent communicator, this is the right challenge for you. The ideal candidate will be a tech-savvy, seasoned business developer. You will be conducting sales presentations, speaking about our services and acting as a consultant, to convey the value of Total Cleaning to prospective clients.

What will your day to day look like:

• Identify some potential customers through cold calling and develop action plans to close them.

• Plan and visit potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.

• Acts as a consultant, understanding the environment, able to walk the facilities to take measurements, and help determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations.

• Closing new business, being the main goal to close most sales on the proposal delivery.

• Develop new appointments and deliver sales presentations to a range of prospective clients in targeted industries.

• Review, follow up, and work pipeline of leads in CRM system.

• Answer client questions about credit terms, products, pricing, and availability.

• Coordinate sales efforts with marketing programs.

• Deliver high-quality weekly and monthly reports.

• Develop a strategic yearly sales plan.

Job requirements

Education and Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred.

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

• Janitorial sales experience preferred. Security building or Pest Control industry experience could substitute the Janitorial sales experience.

• Proven sales track record. Experienced with professional services.

• Previous experience with client management required. Knowledge of CRM systems preferred.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills required.

• Ability to communicate with different levels of internal and external customers.

• Respond to all emails timely - even on weekends and after hours - as requested by clients.

• Experience understanding budgets, P/L, and forecasting.

• Demonstrated leadership skills.

• Strong problem-solving, follow-up, and negotiation skills, and ability to make swift, sound judgments.

• Winning contract negotiation skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively.

• Must be able to regularly travel to various locations within South Florida. Valid driver’s license required.
