Job description

The Customer Care Representative-I reports directly to the Director of Customer Care and is responsible for handling incoming phone calls, fax and email correspondence, quotations and technical questions as well as order entry and customer service.

Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30 pm

Job Responsibilities:

  • Answer inquiries about company and customer service calls.
  • Perform basic bookkeeping, filing, and clerical duties.
  • Work as receptionist backup when needed.
  • Respond to questions regarding pricing and services.
  • Process orders including order entry, order review for correct handling, pricing, quantities and shipping data.
  • Inform customers of unit prices, shipping date, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by the customer.
  • Scheduling orders in customer portals and arranging order pick up.
  • Invoice customer orders.
  • Partner with Shipping Department to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Process replacements and sample request
  • Knowledgeable in PowerPoint
  • Create customer labels.

Education and Work Experience Requirements

· High school graduate or General Education Degree required.

· Minimum of 1 year prior sales and/or customer service relations experience preferred.

· Experience working in manufacturing industry required.
